Me and My Mini
The Me & My Mini(s) Program Goal is to promote the miniature horse to the public by encouraging members to participate with their miniatures in public venue and to participate in Club activities/meetings. Me and My Mini(s) is a great way for you to earn awards for participating in club and other public events. This program recognizes the participation, achievements and benefits of multiple miniature horse activities. It is for any age member.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be a current member of MHAA. Board members may participate, however Board meetings are excluded from point earnings. Events or services that are monetarily reimbursed to the participant (except prize awards) are not eligible for points. Any miniature horse under 38” is eligible, whether registered or not.
AWARDS

End of year awards will be given based on participation points.
POINTS

Each individual is required to track their own points as they occur using the official form.

You MUST turn in your previous month point form by 11:59 pm of the 15th of every month, any points received AFTER 11:59 pm on the 15th of the month for the previous month WILL NOT BE COUNTED. Example: All January Points must be turned in by 11:59 pm February 15th.
PARTICIPATION FEE

$25.00 for first mini

$10.00 for each additional mini participating in the program. You cannot tally any points on events previous to receipt of payment
As soon as the payment is received by the club treasurer, you may start tallying points. If you pay with a check and want to start tallying points immediately, you are encouraged to take a picture of the check with your phone and text it to 563 357-6146, or send payment through PayPal to MHAAmail@gmail.com

POINTS FOR GENERAL MEETING/ACTIVITIES

50 Organizing a Club Event

25 Bring in a new club member (your family household is excluded)

20 Physical participation at any MHAA event (club meetings, clinics, drives, fun shows, ect. Physical attendance at one ONE General Meeting is MANDATORY

10 Attending club meeting via Zoom/telecommunication

05 Hosting a MHAA event or meeting

05 Serve on a club committee and receive 5 points per meeting
POINTS FOR PUBLIC VENUE ACTIVITIES * note MAXIMUM Annual Amount of points for each

10 - MAX 200 Therapy or Educational Event with your mini (no compensation)

10 - MAX 200 Participate in a Organized Public & Publicized/Advertised Miniature Trail Drive or Hike (must be organized, publicized/advertised with 3 or more participants; not just an individual)

10 - MAX 200 Parade participation (not MHAA group)

10 - MAX 200 Competing with a Mini in a public show (sanctioned or open horse show, CDE, ADT, or a Online Horse Show)
POINTS FOR THE WESTWORLD 4 DAY SHOW

10 Getting a silent auction item - no limit

20 Show in at least one AMHR class at AMHR Kick Off Arizona or the Touch Of Class show

20 Show in at least one AMHA class at AMHA Kick Off Arizona or the Touch Of Class show (both of these are show, not per class)

20 Show in at least one fun non-rated class

10 for each - Getting a class sponsor of $25

25 for each - Getting a Gold or Platinum Show Sponsor
AWARDS: THERE WILL BE TWO CATEGORIES - MULTIPLE MINIS and INDIVIDUAL MINS

Both Categories will be awarded a Champion and Reserve

No one can win awards in both categories

Someone can add a mini anytime during the year, but payment must be received by the treasurer before any points can be accumulated.
